IT Program & Portfolio Director

Program governance built for data-driven executive decisions, not the ticket queue

About Me

28 years of IT program and portfolio management leadership, across ERP consulting, pharmaceutical, healthcare, financial, environmental services, non-profit, and airline organizations, moving from hands-on project and program delivery, including infrastructure and data center implementations, to building and running the centralized program governance structures I lead today. That's included leading both centralized and globally dispersed teams, with hands-on experience working overseas.

My Next engagement

I'm focused on strategic IT program and portfolio governance roles built for the executive suite, not day-to-day technical execution.I'm open to the right full-time Director-level PMO or IT delivery leadership position, and am taking on a limited number of fractional or consulting engagements in the meantime.

Proof, Not Promises

Six capabilities, spanning enterprise governance, executive reporting, global team leadership, and AI-enabled planning.

01.

Enterprise Roadmap & Budget Oversight

I own the roadmap and budget discipline behind $10M+ in active program value across three concurrent engagements, redesigning executive reporting to give leadership a single, comparable view of program health and financial performance across every workstream, shifting decisions from instinct to evidence.

02.

Executive-Ready Data Driven Reporting

I turn program data into executive dashboards leadership actually uses to make decisions, providing actionable insight on progress, resource allocation, and KPIs at the executive level, the same discipline behind the quarterly Steering Committee sessions I've facilitated with executive leadership across every client account.

03.

Program Governance for Sustained Delivery

I build and lead holistic program governance that gives workstreams autonomy and stays methodology agnostic, while ensuring unified intake, dependency tracking, change control, and issue and risk management, the structure that sustains delivery across the full program lifecycle.

04.

Multi-Team Program Leadership

I run multiple concurrent development teams across a global, multi-timezone footprint, coordinating up to six teams across three simultaneous client engagements while maintaining high-quality, collaborative delivery.

05.

AI-Enabled Capacity Planning

I use generative AI (Claude) to compress capacity and resource planning that used to take weeks into minutes. The model I built optimizes feature sequencing against milestones and resource availability in real time.

06.

Credentials and Tool Expertise

PMP, Six Sigma Greenbelt, and Monday.com certified, with hands-on platform fluency across Notion, Jira, Confluence, and generative AI tools including Claude, the credentials and toolset behind everything above.

Resume

The six capabilities above are the headline. My resume (links below) have the fuller record behind them. 28 years across ERP consulting, pharmaceutical, healthcare, financial, environmental services, non-profit, and airline organizations, with the most recent decade documented role by role, result by result.
